Nelson Arriagada was born in Navidad (Chile) in 1971. He started studying Cello at the Universidad de Chile in 1981, and at the Universidad Católica de Chile in 1990, then he moved to Germany und studyed Bass at the Hochschule f. Musik u. Theater in Hannover. He has worked together with Kenny Kirkland, Mo Horizons, Fareed Haque and many others.
